The STOP Trafficking Label Project is an Initiative of Soroptimist International of Dayton in partnership with the Michigan Abolition-ist Project .
The STOP Trafficking Label Project is a program designed to reach out to those who may have information about or are at present being forced to work or perform other acts (trafficked).
Placement of stickers are determined by areas most prone to trafficking such as Rest Areas, and Truck Stops, or other vulnerable areas such as Shopping Malls, Schools, Universities or areas frequented by youth.
The club is also working with the Community Outreach for Missing and Exploited Children by creating and distributing Missing Children posters to hotels, motels, stores and area restaurants three times a year.
This project began in March 2018 and has located 47 of the 72 targeted youth. It has expanded south towards Cincinnati with the assistance of Soroptimist International of Middletown and west to eastern Indiana.
